Play Therapy enrolment

Mayo Cancer Support Association will be taking on new clients for our FREE play therapy service at Rock Rose House, Castlebar in the coming weeks.

This service is for children who have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis (in themselves or a family member) or a cancer-related bereavement.

The thoughts and feelings elicited by such experiences can be challenging for children to process.

Play therapy is an effective way for them to express some of their thoughts and emotions and overcome the difficulties they are experiencing in a relaxed, safe and confidential environment where they are guided and supported by a specialist play therapy counsellor.

Our FREE play therapy service is available every Tuesday at Rock Rose House in Castlebar.
