Counselling

At Mayo Cancer Support we offer one-to-one sessions with professional counsellors who can help an individual who is either personally or indirectly affected by a cancer diagnosis, to gain the clarity and confidence to cope with the challenges they are dealing with.

This service is provided in partnership with the Irish Cancer Society who part fund our counselling service. For more information on Irish Cancer Society Services and Supports please click HERE.

Mayo Cancer Support’s counselling services are provided in an empathetic, respectful and non-judgmental space where confidentiality is assured and the empowerment of the service user is prioritised.

Counselling is available free of charge on site in Rock Rose House, at our outreach centre in Ballina, or over the phone.
